Due to the global pandemic, we have extended our return policy to 60 days AFTER you have received your parcel.

  • Regular shipping within the EU is FREE of charge.
  • Regular global shipment is 59kr (kr: Swedish Krona, SEK our currency. We are based in Gothenburg Sweden).
  • If you want to have the possibility to trace your order we offer traced and insured shipping for 99-199kr (kr: Swedish Krona).
  • Orders over 100$ /about 850kr entitle you to FREE worldwide shipping.

Regular shipments are not traceable and not insured. If you are buying from overseas we strongly recommend that you choose the traced and insured shipment option. We also strongly recommend that you choose the traced and insured shipment option if you are buying sterling silver jewellery.

We know that this can be a tricky question and nobody likes shipping charges but before you choose, ask yourself the following questions:

– Does your parcels and letters often arrive on time or has there been trouble recently? Have there been any major events such as the bush fires in Australia or Brexit in the UK? Or is it business as usual? As we ship worldwide there can be large differences from region to region and you as a consumer often have a better practical view of the postage system in your local area than the official information that can be found online. 

– What is the value of your order? Are you buying pins and patches? Crystal necklaces? 1 ring or several items from brands such as Restyle and Rogue and Wolf?  All orders over 100 USD dollars entitles you to FREE insured and traced shipping so it might be worth it to add up with another item at checkout.

– Are you purchasing a budget-friendly ring set or splashing out on sterling silver items? Please note that all parcels that are sent outside the EU have a customs declaration attached to them. This is a requirement by law so your goods can be declared before the parcel enters the borders of your country. This also means that it will be stated on the outside of your parcel that it contains items made of sterling silver, aka items in a precious metal that are subject to theft.

We therefore strongly recommend that you choose the traced and insured shipment option if you are buying sterling silver jewellery so your goods can be replaced if lost.

Update 23-03-2021. We are now shipping to the UK again on a regular basis, but please note that there may be new import and custom fees (as with all purchases from within the EU). These fees are set by the British government and are out of our control, thus all custom/import fees are your responsibility (it s*cks, we know). To be certain of what rules and fees may apply please check with your local customs office. 

PAYMENT

We accept most major credit cards and PayPal. All payments are made on a secure page and we neither store your card details nor share your information with any third parties.

You are currently browsing a Swedish / European Website. All our prices are in kr (kr: Swedish Krona, SEK our currency. We are based in Gothenburg Sweden) but you can pay in any currency. Your Bank/PayPal will convert and deduct the amount equal to your order total, all automatically once the payment is being made. 

Click the ”Change Currency” link at the bottom of the home page, and you can change the site currency to US Dollars, Euros, Britsh Pound or Australian Dollars. Currency conversions are provided only as a guide only and your order will be billed in Kr, Swedish Krona (shown at the final checkout stage). Conversions may differ from the exchange rate used by your card provider or PayPal and it does not include credit card fees or other charges.

In accordance with Swedish tax regulations we apply Swedish VAT (25%) to all orders within the E.U. Don’t worry, it is not an additional cost, it is included in the prices you see in the online store.

If you live in a country outside of the E.U. you will not have to pay any VAT at hellholics.com. The VAT will be deducted (-20%) from the product prices at checkout once you have selected your residential country.

Each order contains a selection of free stickers and is normally packed and dispatched as soon as possible once we have received your payment, most of the time within the next 2 business days or in some occasions the days after if it is during a peak period, for example, a sale or during the Holiday season.

A) It’s a weekend or a bank holiday! If you have placed an order after noon at Swedish business time on a Friday, your order will be processed from Monday onwards. If you have placed an order on a bank holiday or the day before it will be processed come the next business days. Once it has left our processing facility we will let you know with a shipping confirmation asap 🙂

Please note that national weekends and bank holidays differ from country to country.

B) We are waiting to receive your payment. Due to different bank systems and card providers in different countries, the processing time can vary.

C) You and many others with you have placed an order during a peak period, for example during a sale or within the Holiday season. This is something that we are sincerely grateful for and we understand that you are eager to receive your goods. We try our very best to get your orders dispatched as quickly as possible but with large peaks in parcels, the processing time will be prolonged from time to time.

Sadly we do not have a magical spell to sustainably increase the possible working hours during the week before our bodies say no. We are a small company with a crew of two people, two women who do not shy away from intense work and long hours but there is a limit to how many orders we can pack and how much coffee we can drink during a day 😉

We process your order on a strict first-come, first-served policy. No customer has privilege over another.

DELIVERIES

Customs fees are set by the government of the country that the goods are shipped to and are out of our control, thus all custom/import fees are the responsibility of the customer. VAT, customs charges and other fees may apply. To be certain of what rules and fees that applies to your country please check with your local customs office.

However as a helping guideline please see below for personal import limits to the United States, Australia & Norway.

Traced and insured shipping is only valid if you have chosen and paid for this option at checkout. Regular shipments are not traceable.

We know how important it is to receive your goods when you expect them, especially if you have ordered something for a specific occasion. However please see the questions below about delivery times and bear in mind that different global postage systems, customs, extreme weather and holiday seasons with high peaks in sales all can cause delays that are out of our control.

You should receive your goods in about 3-5 days working days after dispatch (E.U & Europe) or 10-12 working days after dispatch (International orders) *. Please note that our delivery times are working days aka business day Monday to Friday on a regular week without Bank Holidays.

We ship with the Swedish Post, please be aware that these delivery times are an approximation and some countries may experience delays due to customs and different postage systems. Crystals naturally vary in colour, detail, shape and size. All stones that we use will bear individual characteristics and your piece may vary from the photograph as each stone is different and unique.

” The last you put on and the first you take off” – A great guideline for caring for your jewellery.

When styling yourself and choosing your outfit make sure that you are all set with hair, make-up and clothing before adding the final touch with jewellery. A necklace chain can easily be tangled in your hair and if unlucky break. Chlorine and sweat can cause your rings to discolour while you workout and harsh chemicals, such as perfume, hair spray, oils and make up- removers can all cause tarnishing and damage.

Removing jewellery is important when you wash your hands, shower or bathe. Particularly important when on the beach, in the sea and in chlorinated water. Keep away from extreme temperatures, humidity and if you can also avoid strong sunlight.

Many crystals are fragile and/or water-soluble and some, such as amethysts, can fade in direct sunlight. When not in use it is a good idea to wrap your crystals in silk or store them in a velvet pouch to protect them and to stop them from absorbing foreign vibrations. Techniques for charging your crystals with energies can be found online, you need to find out what suits your needs individually.

We advise you to clean your crystals and stones with a clean, soft, damp cloth after wearing them.

Ideally store your jewellery in a dark, cool and dry place.

Yes, it can. Annoying for sure – we know! But with good care, you can delay or keep your shinies in good shape. Please see the question above. As with all jewellery, avoid wearing when working with your hands, cooking, doing dishes, craftwork etc – wears down the metal and wears off the plating in particular*. Removing jewellery is important when you wash your hands, shower or bathe. Particularly important when on the beach, in the sea and in chlorinated water.

Most common discolouring and vanished plating are caused by the combination of the material in the jewellery and chemical products you use on your skin such as sunscreen, perfume, hair products, hand and body lotion, soap and make-up. Heading to the gym? Leave your shines at home, chlorine and sweat can cause your rings to discolour while you workout.

You may want to try and apply a coat of clear nail polish to your costume jewellery to prolong the lifetime of the piece and to avoid tarnishing on your skin. Apply on the metal surface and the surface touching your skin, be careful not to apply nail polish to gems and crystals. Every now and then re-apply. A simple trick that makes a large impact.

If you are heading out for wild night on the town or going to a festival leave your favourite pieces at home and don’t let them be a sacrifice to the goods of rock’n’roll.

* Our silver and gold-toned, or silver plated jewellery is considered costume jewellery. As these pieces are not precious metal all the way through they have a lower price range and shorter life expectancy than our solid 925 sterling silver pieces.

When a ring turns your finger green it’s either because of a chemical reaction between acids in your skin and the metal/plating of the ring or a reaction between another substance on your hand, such as a lotion, and the metal/ plating of the ring.

While that green mark may be initially alarming there is no need to panic.

There are several metals (copper amongst others) that oxidise or react with your skin to produce a noticeable green discolouration. The somewhat common green colour is not harmful in itself, though some people experience an itchy rash or other sensitivity reaction to the metal – if so please stop wearing the jewellery.

You may wish to try and coat the jewellery with clear nail polish, please see the question “Can my jewellery wear off” above.

Keep soaps and lotions away from your ring finger if you want to prevent the green-finger effect. Something as simple as removing rings before washing your hands or before taking a shower can help. Avoid wearing rings in the pool as well. The chlorine from the swimming pool will damage your jewellery and leave an annoying stain.
